Staib watch strap adjustment
Loosen pin:
It is best to use such a strap pin remover (extractor) with a plastic block to fix the strap.
Both items are also available in the shop:
Pay attention to arrows:
To shorten the watch strap, the links can be removed by knocking out the strap pins.
The arrows on the back of the links mark the direction of impact.
Remove pin:
The pin can then be removed with pliers, once it protrudes a little.
Strap links:
Remove the appropriate link. Now reassemble the links by carefully tapping the pins on the other side of the band (in the opposite direction of the arrow) into the band.
Please note:
When adding or removing extension links on a metal watch bracelet, the direction of the pin matters. The pin has a thin side and a thicker side (the friction end). To remove it, push the pin out in the direction of the arrow marked on the bracelet (thin side comes out first). To insert it, go against the arrow, starting with the thin side so that the thicker end locks securely in place.
